Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Director of Sales - East Division


  • Manage open order flow
  • Expedite and facilitate special delivery requirements
  • Review contracts
  • Provide samples and technical assistance
  • Maintain customer contract database
  • Manage quote process
  • Prepare and submit formal quotation directly to customer or provide to outside
    sales for presentation to customer
  • Maintain quote log (pipe drive)
  • Work with TSM to support and develop assigned customers by seeking new sales opportunities within the account.
  • Assist with preparation and presentation, as needed, of account SBR
  • Schedule PQP team meetings for class one automotive parts.


  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience 

  • 2 years related work experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager reports to the Director of Technical Services and plays a key role in the success of AFC Industries.


  •   Hartford, CT (AFC Northeast)


  • Supervise Quality department personnel

  • Manage site quality personnel and assist with training, inspection, quality issues, and QMS compliance

  • Oversee the ISO 9001 quality management system, and retention of the ISO Registration

  • Lead Management Review meetings

  • Assist upper management in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and procedures

  • Train new employees on quality requirements

  • Make sure that all parts adhere to customer requirements, dispositioning
    nonconforming product as needed

  • Resolve quality issues with both suppliers and customers

  • Qualification of new vendors with the assistance of the Purchasing department

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prefer experience within the fastener industry

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years working in Quality Management

  • Capable of reviewing and resolving technical issues from a sales and quality perspective

  • Experience managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System

  • Preference for familiarity in (and a working knowledge of) fastener-related
    specifications such as but not limited to: ASTM, ASME, IFI, MIL, and DIN

  • Comfortable addressing non-conforming product issues and performing 8D corrective actions

  • Experience with AIAG PPAP requirements

Professional Skills

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to efficiently see numerous tasks through to completion

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to make written and oral presentations to customers

  • Strong understanding of Lean, PDCA, and Continuous Improvement

  • Advanced knowledge in blueprint reading, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques

Regional Sales Director

This Regional Sales Director will report to the Regional Vice President within the AFC East region.


  •   Bridgeville, PA (AFC East)


  • Guide a team of Territory Managers and Inside Sales Associates to meet or exceed annual business goals
  • Develop and support key customer relationships
  • Leverage Pipeline software and other business tools
  • Support strategic business reviews at key customers
  • Analyze forecasts, reporting, and sales trends to manage the region
  • Conduct performance meetings with the region's sales group
  • Coach through issues with the region's sales group
  • Ensure consistent process adoption and expectations within sales group
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of Sales experience with at least 5 in a management or supervisory capacity

  • Background in Vendor Managed Inventory Program / Solution sales

  • OEM / Industrial Sales experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business tools
