Territory Sales Manager

Job Description

Meet or exceed annual budgeted goals by building a robust pipeline of new opportunities to driving sales and profitability through a mix of existing accounts and new account prospects

Territory

Northern Ohio 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work in a defined territory with direct reporting to General Manager
  • Focus on customer retention by advancing existing customer relationships at all levels within the customer’s organization and by hosting quarterly business reviews with key customers
  • Expand “share of wallet” at existing customers by regularly adding new components or services  
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of relevant account opportunities and keep them updated in the company CRM tool
  • Follow a defined sales process and participate in all weekly, quarterly & annual sales calls/meetings
  • Provide relentless communication to internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process      

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a 3+ years’ proven track record of fastener VMI program sales and program management to OEM customers

Shipping Personnel 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pulling and shipping all orders given to them by supervisor or sales personnel
  • Must be able to read and understand a sales order
  • Lifting 20-70lbs
  • Insure the quality of our product
  • General clean up of work area including garbage
  • Must be able to ship product through UPS machine, common carrier, and special delivery services
  • Maintain goals set up for ISO
  • Work on “Ship today” orders
  • Work on ship by due date orders
  • Pull advanced scan orders for delivery
  • Pull and stage orders where needed
  • Must be able to read and pull a Production Order
  • Must be able to operate a scanner
  • Must be able to pull a secondary process to ship

Educational Requirements

A High School diploma or GED is required. 

Work Experience Requirements

Certified on or prior experience on a forklift.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 9:30pm - 8:00am

Compensation

$13.50/hour

 

Warehouse & Service Representative 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Engineer

 

Job Description:

 

The Quality Engineer, reporting to the Quality Manager, plays a vital role in ensuring AFC Industries is aligned with a capable and disciplined supply base, while also establishing and maintaining sound internal processes aimed at capturing supplier performance data, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring the voice of the customer is met or exceeded.

Activities and responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include: 

 PPAP and other APQP Activities

Supplier Audits (external)

Intercompany Audits (internal)

Drawing/Blue Print Analysis

FMEA Analysis

Issuing (and monitoring) Supplier Preventive and Corrective Action Initiatives

Continuous Improvement Initiatives (internally and externally)

Job Requirements:

Education: 

A minimum of a two-year degree in a correlating discipline (Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, etc.)

Preference for a four-year degree in a correlating discipline

Preference for SQE, CQE, or equivalent certification from a sanctioning body (i.e. ASQ)  

  • Work Experience:

 A minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in a quality environment with an emphasis on strengthening supplier quality and performance

Experience in reading and extrapolating information from engineering drawings

Experience in, or a working knowledge of, ISO 9001:2008 and/or ISO

  • 9001:2015 disciplines

  • Experience in collaborating with automotive-grade customers and suppliers

  • Experience in conducting internal or external audits for conformance to given standards

  • Experience in conducting and leading continuous improvement activities with sustained tangible results

  • Experience in utilizing various tools and disciplines in regards to root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and continued sustainability

  • Strong preference for experience in the creation of standard work instructions and or process flow diagrams

  • Experience using various testing equipment, such as but not limited to:  calipers,

    micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges, optical comparators, etc.

  • Strong preference for experience in the fastener industry

  • Strong preference for experience in, and a working knowledge of, fastener related

    specifications such as but not limited to: ASTM, ASME, IFI, MIL, DIN

     

    Personal Skillsets:

  • Efficient time management, with the ability to efficiently see numerous tasks through to completion

  • Excellent communication skills (via face to face communication, phone, and email) across all organizational levels

  • Precision oriented
